# Roadmap

Robind’s development and rollout will proceed in clear stages, blending rigorous technical milestones with community-centric growth. Below is the roadmap with key phases:

1. **Phase 1: MVP and Stealth Build (Q3 2026)** – The Robind concept is built out by a small core team under the radar. A **Minimum Viable Product (MVP)** oracle is developed integrating MCP with a basic AI model on a test network. During this phase, we prioritize core functionality: connecting a couple of data sources (e.g. Twitter API, a crypto news API) to an LLM, and feeding outputs to a testnet blockchain. Security audits begin early for the MVP. The development happens mostly in stealth (no marketing blasts yet), ensuring the groundwork is solid without hype pressure. By end of Q3 2026, we aim to have a working prototype demonstrating, for example, a sentiment oracle and a simple compliance oracle on an BNB Smart Chain testnet.
2. **Phase 2: Early Degen Testnet (Q3 2026)** – We open up the **“DegenNet” testnet** to the community. This is an incentivized testnet tailored for crypto degens to come play and break things (in a fun way). We invite meme traders, developers, and node operators to run Robind nodes on a test network, try out oracle queries, and participate in test campaigns. For instance, we might host a *“Meme Markets Simulation”* on testnet where users predict a meme coin index using Robind or a *“Data Hunt”* where participants feed creative data sources to Robind. Technical goals here include testing the scaling of multi-node consensus, refining the MCP integrations (ensuring our nodes can connect to many API keys/services smoothly), and improving the AI models’ reliability in a decentralized setting. The vibe of this phase is experimental and community-driven – a bit chaotic by design – echoing hackathons where degens try wild ideas (some might use Robind to create weird DeFi games on testnet, which we fully encourage). Feedback from this phase will guide final tweaks before mainnet.
3. **Phase 3: Meme Partnerships & Integrations (Q3 2026)** – With a successful testnet and growing buzz, we pursue strategic **partnerships** in both the meme coin and broader crypto ecosystem. This includes: collaborating with a few trending meme projects or communities to integrate Robind oracles (for instance, a Shiba or PEPE spinoff project using Robind to fetch “meme sentiment data” on itself, showcasing a real use case to their community); partnering with DeFi protocols that want to pioneer AI-driven features (perhaps a lending platform piloting sentiment-based risk metrics via Robind); and working with data providers or AI platforms (e.g., NLP services, or on-chain data indexers) to enrich the Robind network. During this phase, we also refine the **AI Data Marketplace** concept – building out the framework where third-party data providers or AI model developers can plug into Robind and offer their services (to be launched fully in Phase 4). On the community side, this is when we ramp up **content and meme campaigns** in earnest: expect joint meme contests with partner communities, educational infographics explaining Robind’s tech (turned into easy memes), and perhaps an “Robind Ambassador” program to embed evangelists in various telegram groups. By the end of Q3 2025, our goal is to have a handful of real projects actively using Robind on mainnet beta (if not the final mainnet, maybe a quasi-mainnet), proving the value in production.
4. **Phase 4: AI Data Marketplace Launch (Q4 2026)** – Robind evolves from a protocol into an **ecosystem platform**. The AI Data Marketplace is a decentralized marketplace where data source providers (like an API for stock prices, or a data stream of NFT metadata) and AI model providers (like a sentiment analysis model, or a weather prediction model) can offer their services to Robind. Node operators can mix and match these to create specialized oracle “feeds”. The marketplace will use OMND for payments: e.g., a data provider could charge a small OMND fee for each call. This phase focuses on launching the marketplace dApp, including a registry of available data adapters and AI plugins, rating systems for quality, and maybe a **bounty program** for developers to add new integrations (paid in OMND). This dramatically extends Robind’s versatility – effectively, anyone can enhance the network by adding a new context source or better model. Technically, we will have implemented robust sandboxing and security for custom adapters by this point, to ensure no malicious provider can compromise nodes. On the user side, this marketplace makes Robind’s offerings modular: a DeFi project could come and “shop” for a data feed (like “Twitter trending topics”) and an AI analysis (like “sentiment classifier”), and combine them via Robind for their specific need, all in a click-and-deploy manner. During this phase, we also finalize all preparations for mainnet: rigorous audits, decentralized governance framework, and ensuring a sufficient number of independent node operators are ready to participate from day 1 of mainnet.
5. **Phase 5: Mainnet Launch and DAO Handoff (Q1 2027)** – The big moment: Robind **officially launches on mainnet**, with the OMND token generation event (if not already done in a prior fair launch) and the network fully decentralized. The genesis oracle set will start delivering live data to partner protocols and any other dApp that integrates. A public dashboard will showcase various live Robind feeds (from price+context feeds to meme indexes). Immediately at launch, the Robind **DAO** is activated – initial governance tokens (OMND) are distributed and staked in the DAO, and the community can begin the first governance votes. The core team will propose a transition of certain controls (like parameter tuning, treasury usage) to the DAO multisig or governance contracts. Over the next few months post-launch, control and decision-making gradually shift to token holders, i.e., a **DAO handoff**. The core team moves into a contributor role, and the project achieves full decentralization in operations and governance. In this phase, we emphasize long-term sustainability: engaging academics to review our oracle’s performance, running bug bounty programs continuously, and possibly starting to research “Robind v2” improvements via open DAO-funded grants. By the end of Q1 2026, Robind should be a self-sufficient, community-governed protocol, servicing a growing array of use cases across multiple chains.
